  Waited for one and half hours!! Food lovely but two meals came out 20 min after others- not impressed. Other wise good. They have changed reservation rule as in you can book now up to 12 people, wish we had known.
  Edit.... visited again for my sons birthday, booked a table and was told they would only hold it for 15 minutes and then we did not very a table till 25 minutes after our allotted time (how does that work!!?) Service was slow and not attentive at all. Out of two meals we wanted and the steak was not prepared and cooked right so very tough. My son was very disappointed with his first restaurant steak. Portion sizes are now smaller too. Not sure we will be returning as we used this restaurant quite a lot and travel from Dover as it WAS always good. SHAME.
  Nice to see the manager replies to reviews, shame it's not to sort issues but to just say thanks to the good ratings.

  Not cramped spacious and nice garden space to sit eat if you choose. Lovely staff who are also helpful and polite. Must admit my favourite harvester by far and iv been to quit a few. Food great.

  Love coming to this place. Me and a friend go every month. Amazing food and a to die for salad bar. Great atmosphere and very comfortable.

  First of all, staff were rude and glared when we asked to be moved to a quiet table (4 adults and they put us next to 3 groups of screaming children) then the glasses were dirty, we asked for new ones... Still dirty. The salad looked like it had been sat out for days, soggy and sad looking and completely bland. The lettuce looked yellow. We waited probably 30 minutes for our mains, chips were cold, the gammon was tough, scampi looked like standard birds eye frozen stuff you can buy from Asda. The burger was grisly and the lettuce on it was old and soggy. I would recommend going anywhere else, even Mcdonalds makes better food than this. Stay away if you have taste buds and want service.

  Great pub with a nice range of veggie and vegan options. Good wine too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Salad bar is kept stocked up with fresh items. 20% off with AA membership. Can't fault it.
